Job Description

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is currently preparing an inventory for a Technologist, Radio Technology Program. To apply for this position, the candidate should have a 2 year diploma in information technology. This is an Inventory process, so the selected candidates will also be contacted for vacancies that arise later. The job location is Cranbrook, Kelowna, Terrace, and Nelson in British Columbia. Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be running testing of the networks to check them regularly. They will help during operations of emergency. They will support the staff. They will work at major public events whenever required at the office. They will repair any electronic circuitry when there is a problem. 

Professional qualifications 

The candidate should have a graduation from a recognised post-secondary institute. The field should be computer science, information technology, electronics, or a related field. The candidate should have a certificate in CCNA or CAPM. 

Experience needed 

The candidate should have experience in repairing. The candidate should have experience working with Network monitoring. They should be good at designing electronic circuitry. The candidate should have a valid driver’s licence.

The candidate should have good communication skills. They should have problem-solving skills. They should be good at team collaboration. The candidate should be good at planning. They should be good at managing the workload. The candidate should be adaptable for the office work and field work. The candidate should be able to lift equipment up to 90 lbs.
