Key responsibilities of the candidate

The candidate will be responsible for delivering of large and high-risk programs in different service lines. They will manage the service level agreement to meet the requirements of the clients. The candidate will look after the project schedules and budget. They will also work with the consultants and the technical teams. The candidate will provide guidance to the project leaders and staff members. They will do quality assurance from time to time and review the project. The candidate will manage rest and make sure to comply with the standards of the organisation. The candidate will do performance management and plan the work force accordingly. They will also be responsible for resource allocation.

Professional qualifications of the candidate

The candidates should have a University degree in engineering, architecture, environmental services or a related field. A combination of education and related experience can also be considered for this job position. If the candidate has a professional certification in project management, it will be considered an asset.

Experience needed for the position

The candidate should have 6 years of professional experience in managing difficult engineering and construction projects. They should have experience in managing different teams and supervising the technical team members. They should have successfully managed contracts and the project budget. The candidate should have experience working with contractors and government stakeholders. The candidate should have a background in financial planning and risk management. The candidate should be able to take a business development initiative. If the candidate has previous work experience in public sector infrastructure, it will be beneficial for the candidate.

The candidate should have good leadership and people management skills. They should have good project management skills. The candidate should have reached management skills. The candidate should have planning and organisational skills. They should have communication skills so that they can build relationships with the team members. The candidate should be proficient in English and French language as this is mandatory for most of the positions.
