The Ottawa Public Health is looking to hire dedicated candidates for the position of Clinical Dentists. The job location will be across Ottawa, Ontario. The candidates looking for long term professional career in community health can apply for this position. This is a full time job opportunity. The candidate should have a doctor of dental surgery and a license from the Royal College of dental surgeons of Ontario. The selected candidate will get an annual salary of $120,309.28 to $180,341.98. The last date to apply is June 30, 2026. 

Key Responsibilities:

The candidates will be responsible for providing complete dental services to the community through the public dental health program. In addition to this work, the candidate will supervise daily dental clinic operations. They will guide the support staff according to Ottawa Public Health policies. The candidate will collaborate with other Health Care professionals to make sure patients receive coordinated care. 

Required Qualification:

The candidate should have a doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree or an equivalent dental qualification recognised in Canada. They should have an active licence as a dentist with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). 

Experience Needed:

The candidate should have experience practicing general dentistry in a clinic or community health environment. They should have experience working with Public Health programs, especially with diverse patient populations. 

Skills and Competencies:

The candidate should be a dental specialist. They should have organizational skills. The candidate should have leadership skills. They should have good communication skills. The candidate should have good documentation skills.
