Key responsibilities of the candidate

Required qualifications of the candidate

The candidate should have a degree or a diploma in civil engineering, transportation engineering, or a related field. They should have a valid driver’s licence. The candidate should have knowledge of road maintenance and Highway construction methods. The candidate should be familiar with the legislation of the province, such as the Highway Traffic Act. If the candidate has a professional certification related to infrastructure management or project management, it will be considered an asset. 

Experience needed for the position

The candidate should have experience in road maintenance and repair planning. They should have experience in handling construction material and equipment. The candidate should have experience in contract administration. Candidates should have experience in cost estimation and budget tracking. They should be able to read engineering drawings and technical plans. The candidate should be able to co-ordinate also meet deadlines along with the standard of quality.
