Key responsibilities of the candidate

The candidate will be responsible for investigating the reports that are related to harassment and threats or any security related incidents that involve justice of Ontario. The candidate will gather the evidence. They will make use of different investigative techniques and social media research. The candidate will conduct the interviews and prepare reports according to it. 

Required qualifications of the candidate

The candidate should have a diploma or a degree in criminal justice, public administration, emergency management or a related field. If the candidate has a professional certification in security management or risk assessment, it will be considered an asset. If the candidate has extra training in emergency response or crisis management, it will make their application strong. The candidate should have an understanding of the criminal justice process. They should be able to interpret legislation like the Criminal Court and police service act. 

Experience needed for the position

The candidate should have experience in doing investigation related to security incidents. They should have experience working with police Agencies and Justice systems. The candidates should have experience in preparing investigative reports. They should have experience in keeping the records confidential. They will build security inspections and recombine the improvements, if any. The candidate will also manage sensitive information while at work.

The candidates should have good analytical thinking skills so that they can analyse the threat. They should have risk assessment skills so that they can evaluate the threats. The candidates should have good communication skills. They should have good skills in conflict resolution so that they can respond to the crisis immediately.

The candidate should have good report writing skills. The candidate should have good public speaking skills so that they can manage the training. The candidate should have good organisational skills so that they can manage it effectively. They should be able to collaborate with different stakeholders. The candidate should have good knowledge of case management systems and office databases.
