Key responsibilities of the candidate

The candidate will conduct interviews and assess the information from different sources. The candidate will analyse difficult findings and provide recommendations in the form of solutions. Candidate will also be responsible for maintaining high standards and confidential. 

Professional qualifications of the candidate

The candidate should have a certificate of completion in polygraph instrumentation and techniques from CAPP. They should have a post-secondary certificate or a degree in a related field. The candidate could also have a combination of education and related experience. The candidate should be able to provide official educational credentials. Candidates should be eligible to get an enhanced top secret security clearance. The candidate should be having a membership in good standing with the Canadian Association of police polygraphists. 

Experience needed for the position

The candidate should have experience in doing professional polygraph examinations. They should have experience in using modern equipment.  The candidate should have experience in performing the screening and researching difficult information. The candidate should have experience in preparing comprehensive reports so that they can be used at the latest stage. The candidate should be able to analyse the evidence and provide strategic recommendations based on the evidence. If the candidate has experience working in an intelligence or law enforcement environment, it will be considered an asset. The candidate has worked in a domestic intelligence organisation or the National Security Agency; it will be considered an asset.
