Key responsibilities of the candidate

Required qualifications of the candidate

The candidate should be enrolled in a recognised law program leading to LLB. They should be completing the second year of Law School in 2027. The candidate should be eligible to enter the Law Society of Ontario lawyer licence process.

Experience needed for the position

While the previous experience in the legal environment is not necessary, it will be helpful if the candidate has experience in legal research projects. They should have experience in a student legal Clinic and community legal services. The candidates should have experience in volunteer advocacy work. They should have experience with an internship. They should have experience working in diverse communities. All these experiences are necessary because the candidate will have to implement this knowledge during their time at work.
