Job Description

Netflix Animation Studios is looking to hire a dedicated candidate for the position of Software Engineer, Animation & Rigging. The job location will be in Vancouver, Canada. This is a hybrid job opportunity. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, animation or a related field. The selected candidate will get a salary of $150,000 – $200,000 on per year basis. There is no deadline for applying to this job position. 

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing the frameworks. They will work with the production team for solving the difficult animation. They will work on the technical challenges and resolve them. They will write code in Python and C++. They will present the technical developments at the industry conferences. 

EducationRequired Qualifications:

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, animation or a related field. They should be good at coding. They should have knowledge of DCC applications. They should have knowledge of USD. 

Experience Experience Needed:

The candidate should have 8 years of experience in character rigging. They should have experience in the animation workflow. They should have experience in collaborating with the technical and creative teams. 

SkillsSkills and Competencies:

The candidate should have good communication skills. They should have good problem solving skills. They should have good organizational skills. They should be able to work in a fast paced environment.
