Job Description

Indigenous Services Canada is looking to hire a dedicated candidate for the position of Clinical Liaison Nurse. The position will be in the regional Service Delivery sector in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  The candidate should have a graduation with a degree in nursing from a recognised post-secondary Institution. The selected candidate will get a salary of $99,042 to $115,426 on per year basis. The first round of applications will start on February 23, 2026. The last date to apply for this position is February 9, 2027.

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for conducting a review of sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections. They will travel approximately 1 week every month to the First Nation community. They will help the community nurses with the treatments and follow up. The candidate will collaborate with the regional health authorities. They will provide immunization support for all age groups. They will help with the communicable disease control. The candidate will participate in meetings and conferences.

Education Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have a degree in nursing from a recognised post-secondary Institution. They should be eligible for registration as a registered nurse in Canada. They should have a CPR basic life support certification. The candidate should have a valid driver’s licence. They should be eligible to get a reliability status security clearance.

Experience Experience Needed:

The candidate should have 5 years of experience as a registered nurse in Public Health areas like communicable disease control or animal exposure management. They should have experience of  preparing the Health Care Education sessions. The candidate should have knowledge of health issues that affect the first Nation communities.

The candidate should have strong communication skills. They should be able to provide Public Health Nursing guidance. They should have good judgement skills. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills. They should be able to work in a remote environment.
