Job Description

The City of Ottawa is looking to hire a Recreation and Culture Specialist, House Facilitator. The job location is at various places in Ottawa, Ontario. The candidate must have completed grade 12 and should have experience in supervising. The selected candidate will get a salary of $21.859 – $25.770 on per hour basis. Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for implementing the policies and operations in the theatre. They will lead the staff and volunteers. The candidate will check the cash handling and make sure that it is alright. They will maintain health and safety standards. The candidate will provide very good customer service to the community members. They will monitor the inventory. 

Required Qualification:

The candidate should have completed grade 12. They should have a standard first aid and CPR certificate. They should have the certificate in AGCO. 

Experience Needed:

The candidate should have one year of experience in supervising the staff and interacting with the public. They should have experience in the hospitality or entertainment sector. They should be familiar with safety practices. The candidate should have experience handling cash and deposits. 

Skills and Competencies:

The candidate should have strong leadership skills. They should have good communication skills. They should be able to manage multiple tasks. They should be able to work independently. They will be working in flexible schedule.
