Netflix Animation Studios is looking to hire one dedicated candidate for the position of Technical compositor. The job location will be Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, animation or a related field. The selected candidate will get a salary of $109,000 to $148,000 on per year basis. Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for developing the composting tools using the best software. They will maintain the Python and Blink scripts. The candidate will provide technical troubleshooting whenever there is an issue at the office. They will help the Artist and production teams. They will collaborate with the supervisor to solve technical and creative problems. The candidate will do quality control checks. 

Required Qualifications:

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, animation or a related field. They should be proficient in Nuke. They should have a good understanding of the Linux operating system. They should have a good foundation in 2D and 3D mathematics. 

Experience Needed:

The candidate should have experience in the technical composting role in animation. They should have experience building pipeline tools. The candidate should have experience with image processing algorithms so that they can help the team. They should be able to conduct development testing.

The candidate should have good analytical skills. They should have good communication skills. They should have time management skills. The candidate should be detailed oriented. They should be good at collaborating with different teams.
